Dear Future Me: Remember when i wrote this letter 5 years ago? I bet you do now. Its was in your 9th grade career tech class. If you dont have a job by now, go look for one. You need a job to survive in life. If you dont get one now, you will never make your career.
I read 5 Reasons Your Portfolio Should Be Online. This article was by George Couros. It talks about 5 reasons why your portfolio should be online and not on paper. Most employers do not want to go through a binder and interview a person at the same time. If the portfolio is online, the employer and access it anytime and anywhere. In my opinions, I think my portfolio will benefit me in the future. A reason why is that employers will search my name and see my portfolio and they will look at it and see all the good things I have done. I think should begin creating your online portfolio when you are a junior. I think this because people are going to be getting jobs soon and this would help them. My portfolio would benefit me in the future. It would because sooner or later I will get a job and that portfolio would help. I think everyone should have a portfolio. Even if you already have a job, it would still help to have one in case you get fired or you quit. This would help in the workplace because you can communicate to other workers and give ideas to put on your portfolio. Portfolio- a flat, portable case for carrying loose papers, drawings, etc. Interview- a formal meeting in whi one or more persons question, consult, or evaluate another person: |
